Queens Craft Brigade is a local makers' market in Astoria showcasing the best artists, designers, and creators from Queens. Each event features unique handmade goods, art, and community spirit. This event is free to attend.

Fresh off a second hit season of FX's English Teacher, Sean is one of the most original and hilarious performers in the business, and will be doing a 4 week residency! Tuesdays at 8pm.

A night of unscripted comedy featuring the city's top improvisers.

Three firefighters working an overnight shift begin to tell tales of passion and inflammation. As their stories grow more and more intense, smoke begins to fill the firehouse. A mysterious woman seems to be the only person who can keep the flames at bay. A play about what happens when you add oxygen to desire.

Collaborate with community volunteers as we rake and collect leaves to be collected by DSNY and made into compost that support city-wide trees. Composted leaves will eventually return to help enrich the soil of Astoria Park and other NYC Parks. Meet up at the Field House near the Astoria Park track. Astoria Park Alliance will provide gloves, tools, and training. Please come in closed-toe shoes, ready to work outdoors.

They hear the voices of the lives they've lived, the bodies that make their shape. Doctor and Creature, creator and creation, are horrified and fascinated by each other. Comedian Bryan Stoops has performed in over twenty countries on five continents. In this monthly show, Bryan curates a line-up of some of the best comedians performing around NYC today. Each show has a different theme, or gimmick, around which all of the comedians have to base some of their material. The result is a unique, hilarious show you're going to look forward to every month!

Join us for Unfinished Object Night, our monthly gathering focused on community building and creativity. Bring any project that you have started or have yet to start and work on it with neighbors. We will have light refreshments and good vibes. We welcome all projects spanning art, crafts, writing, digital work, books, etc.

Let Go follows Bridget and Kelly, seventeen-year-old aspiring filmmakers (and best friends) who have the perfect plan to break into the industry. They're going to make a shot for shot recreation of the 2004 film Garden State and screen it at their town film festival, which happens to be Zac Braff's hometown. They're sure when Braff sees their dedication (and homage to his film) he'll provide them with all the connections they need. But when a car accident leaves Bridget with a traumatic brain injury (and Kelly, who was driving, with plenty of trauma of her own) the two teens have to figure out how to finish their movie, and maintain their friendship, with a new set of limitations.

Paid Protest is a comedy show that raises money for the Democratic Socialists and Other left leaning causes. Since 2017 we've had an awesome monthly show in Brooklyn and we decided to expand the show to Queens at QED. This month we are raising money for the Queens DSA.

Spend an evening with neighbors learning about and taking meaningful action on a variety of climate topics. Together, we will develop our knowledge about solutions for a just and livable future and build new skills for creating the world we want. No pre-registration required.
